Weather in Krabi Thailand

Krabi Province comprises one of the most geo logically interesting andsoenically stunning landscapes in Thailand. Situated within a few hours of the provincial capital of Krabi lies an oceanic wonderland of magnificent limestone outcroppings surrounding white-sand beaches and primeval islands.

Krabi town is a pleasant place but has little to offer except for a good selection of guesthouses and transportation connections to nearby destinations such as Ko Phi Phi, Pranang, and Ko Lanta. Visitors should be forewarned that Krabi once the idyllic counterpart to Phuket and Ko Sarnui is now completely overrun with travelers and tourists.

Last year, an estimated 500,000 visitors passed through town, mostly Europeans on holiday in search of an untouched paradise.

Although the original Thai character has disappeared, the friendly people and well-developed infrastructure make Krabi an acceptable stop en route to nearby beaches.
